Curious conversations on life , God and other stuff. Faith Community Gathering January 5, 2025 at 5.30pm
Last Sunday afternoon we were invited to reflect on and discuss the relevance of grace in our lives. This led to some interesting conversation on both our past and future hopes. In our prayer time for ourselves , our community and world we were invited to ponder how our small faith community ( ten or twelve present )was similar or dissimilar to the 80,000 plus cricket enthusiasts at the MCG for the Boxing Day Test , Did our expressions of spirituality share anything in common with the spirituality of the masses attending the MCG ? How might our spirituality be differentiated ? How might the dramatic difference in the crowd size at the MCG and our faith community be explained ? This Sunday, September 5 Nick Brunton will facilitate our reflections / small group discussion . His theme will be ‘ the universal Christ, an uncommon perspective on the person of Jesus.
