Bridging Divides by Making Music

Song 3.jpg

Making music can be a great bridge builder.

Israel finds itself more in the news for war and divided settlements but a few years ago, Koolulam, a social music initiative, invited 3,000 people who’d never met each other to gather.

The purpose of the gathering was to sing in Arabic, English and Hebrew and, in the process, to celebrate living together in peace.

It took less than an hour to learn the song with the parts and here is the result:

"One day this all will change..." 3000 people Three languages and one Haifa all singing Koolulam and hoping that the 'One Day' is near... ~ Listen to 'One Da...

All my life I’ve been waiting for,

I’ve been praying for all the people to say

That we don’t wanna fight no more

There will be no more wars and our children will play.

One day. One day. One day.

Share the hope!
